On Time Graduation Rates
The instructional hours a student must complete in a course of study are mandated by the State of  Georgia. The Master of Cosmetology Program is a 1500 hour program offering, full time, part time, day and evening classes, graduation dates are determined by the schedule of attendance hours.  The program can be completed from 10 to 18 months depending on your schedule.  When a student completes the graduation requirements and instructional hours on or before their original contracted graduation date, that student is considered an on-time graduate. The US Department of Education prohibits an institution from including in the on-time graduation rate any graduate that has a delayed graduation date. Whether you graduate ‘on-time’ or not can be affected by several different factors. Many post-secondary students could have delayed graduation dates due to family responsibilities, day care issues and or conflict with employment schedules while attending school. Students, who fall into this category, although they graduate, do not meet the definition of on-time graduate and are not included in the on-time graduation rate.

The on-time graduation rate is 73.17% for the Master of Cosmetology program.

Median Debt or Median Loan Debt
To help defray the cost of school, many students apply for student loans. Student loans are monies that must be repaid after leaving school and many of our students receive government Title IV loans to attend school. Cobb Beauty College calculates the median loan debt of students graduating from a program. Median debt refers to the ‘mid-range’ or amount of debt a typical student has when they graduate.

The median Title IV debt is $6942.95 for the Master of Cosmetology program.

Non-title IV debt refers to private loans or institutional financing that a student must repay after leaving
school. The non-Title IV median debt is $0.00 for the Master of Cosmetology program.

Placement Rate
Placement rate is the percentage of graduates who found employment in a field for which their training
prepared them. Obtaining a state license to practice is usually a requirement for finding employment after
completing training programs offered at Cobb Beauty College. The methodology for calculating a placement rate for an institution is determined by the institution’s accrediting agency. Using the accrediting agency’s reporting methodology, the placement rate is calculated for students that graduated within a specific period and found employment.
The placement rate is 100.00% for the Master of Cosmetology program.
